Blueprint Jordan River
A selection of two-dimensional visual work produced in 2007-2009 for the "Blueprint Jordan River" project. Software: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, and Arc2Earth. Location: Jordan River Corridor - Utah, Salt Lake, and Davis Counties, Utah : 2007-2009 The Blueprint Jordan River project was the first comprehensive effort to develop a publicly supported plan of action or "vision" for the Jordan River corridor, from Utah Lake to the Great Salt Lake in Northern Utah. 15 municipalities and three counties were involved, including the participation of over 3,000 residents and technical experts in numerous public workshops. These efforts culminated in the development of a vision for the river corridor and final report reflective of input gathered during the public workshops. Included were future improvements or "Big Ideas" for the river, guiding principles of the project, a framework to assist in implementation of the vision, and other additional resources. Role: Public involvement, planning visualization, research, data collection, scenarios analysis, urban design concepts, map creation, report creation, branding.
